Contract with HBP

July 2024, KOREG and HBP officially signed an agreement, with the latter tasked with completing the field development plan, providing the MTO list and other detailed work. This marks the substantial commencement of the commercial exploitation of the Autour oil field, signaling a major step forward in its development.

Signing a CEPP for development of the oil field after 60 years

April 2024, Gabon Ministry of Petroleum, signed an Exploitation and Production Sharing Agreement (CEPP) with KOREG.

This agreement pertains to the "Autour n°G5-142" field, located in the Ngounié province, covering an area of 45.79 km².

Public Consultation 

July 2024,  As part of the ESIA (Environmental & Social Impact Assessment), a Public Consultation was held with the surrounding communities near the Autour oil field block, where unanimous support from local residents was received. This endorsement has enabled Koreg to advance the development of the oil field from the planning stage to substantive operations.
